Pride Rainbow Glitter Heart Necklaces

Pride necklace, rainbow glitter heart necklaces, lgbt symbol, st. pete pride, love is love

I made up a batch of amazing rainbow glitter heart necklaces to sell at St. Pete Pride….then I got food poisoning and had to miss the show. So I have some awesome necklaces that still need good homes.

Each one was hand cast in resin embedded with rainbow glitter. The heart is shiny and puffy front with flat back. I’ve attached a silver bail and each pendant hangs from a 28″ gunmetal ball chain so you can easily slip it on and off right over your head. You can also hang it from a rearview mirror!

I have four with horizontal glitter pattern (top row), four with diagonal glitter pattern (second row), and one with a mix of glitter (bottom row.) Each is $10 with $2.50 S&H to the US. First come, first served!

Holy rainbow glitter Batman! This batch has officially sold out! But Don’t Panic! I can make up another batch. These will ship in approximately 2-3 days as I need time for the resin to cure. I’m opening this up to 9 more pre-order hearts to ship later this week. Thank you so much for your support!

Butterfly Art

In addition to my Jewelry, I’m also crafty in general. I enjoy a wide variety of crafts and craft projects and I also engage in swaps on Craftster as a way to keep my creative skills sharp.

So I recently made some wall art for a swap which featured butterflies in a rainbow of color inside a shadowbox. I love how it came out.

I used a combination of card stock and scrapbook paper. The card stock butterflies I folded to bring their wings up, as if in flight. Some of the scrapbook ones I doubled, putting one directly on top of another to give it a 3D effect. Because of the depth of the shadowbox frame, there’s plenty of room for them to “flutter” their wings.

It’s a fun take on a traditional specimen or botanical print. No butterflies are harmed in the making of this one! 😉 I think I’ll be making some more to offer for sale in the future, so feel free to contact me if you’re interested!

Rainbow Gemstone Threader Sterling Silver Earrings

Six genuine gemstones (ruby, yellow sapphire, emerald, blue topaz, amethyst and white topaz) form a rainbow of color on sterling silver ear threads.

I started with a sterling silver, ball tipped headpin and then strung six genuine gemstones on. All gemstones are high quality, micro faceted rondelles. The ear threads are .925 sterling silver as well and thus hypoallergenic for those sensitive to some metals.

The gemstones used in the piece starting from the bottom are:

* Ruby – one of four precious gemstones and the birthstone of July

* Yellow Sapphire – Another of the four precious gemstones, sapphire comes in many colors including this lovely yellow. Traditionally blue sapphire is the birthstone of September.

* Emerald – the third precious gemstone in this piece, emerald is the birthstone of May and an amazing green stone without peer.

* Blue Topaz – A semi-precious stone, blue topaz has a crystal clear blue sky color. It’s an alternative birthstone for December.

* Amethyst – Long associated with royalty, amethyst is a gorgeous and rich purple tone. This semi-precious stone is the birthstone of February.

* White Topaz – White topaz is a flawlessly clear crystal stone. It’s used as an alternative to diamond for April’s birthstone. Also semi-precious.

Threader style earrings allow you to adjust how long or short you wish to wear them. The gemstones measure about .25″ in length and the total length of the threader plus gems is right around 3.25″

They’re dainty and feminine. They would be a lovely gift for someone who likes rainbow colors, or who is interested in chakra healing and colors.

They would also be a very special gift for a young woman who may not want or need a large pair of earrings but for whom a pair of sterling silver gemstone earrings would be a special gift. It could be a pair of “grown up” jewelry all her own.

I only have the one pair of these at this time as I put them together with the extra gems leftover after other projects. To individually purchase this many stones to make a pair would be quite expensive so this is a great way to get some high quality gems in a lovely little, affordable package.

Available in the shop HERE.

14K Gold Earrings Featuring Rainbow of Genuine Gemstones

A classically simple, dainty pair of earrings in 14k gold featuring a rainbow of genuine gemstones.

I started with a 14k gold filled, ball tipped headpin and then strung six genuine gemstones on. All gemstones are high quality, micro faceted rondelles. The French hooks are 14k plated and thus hypoallergenic for those sensitive to some metals.

The gemstones used in the piece starting from the bottom are:

* Ruby – one of four precious gemstones and the birthstone of July

* Imperial Topaz – a very rare form of topaz, these are pale yellow in color. Topaz is the birthstone of November and is semi-precious.

* Green Tourmaline – Tourmaline comes in a variety of colors and this one is a lovely olive tone. Tourmaline is semi-precious.

* Blue Topaz – Another semi-precious stone, blue topaz has a crystal clear blue sky color.

The earrings measure a total length just shy of 1.5″ long. They’re dainty and feminine. They would be a lovely gift for someone who likes rainbow colors, or who is interested in chakra healing and colors.

They would also be a very special gift for a young woman who may not want or need a large pair of earrings but for whom a pair of 14k gold gemstone earrings would be a special gift.

Rainbow Stepping Stone Chain Mail #2

The first of this design sold, so I’ve made a second. It’s available once again in my etsy shop.

The flowing “Stepping Stone” pattern chain mail pendant in silver and rainbow colored rings hangs from a sterling silver small link necklace.

I created this handmade pendant using a mix of jump rings in both silver and rainbow colors. The rainbow cascades down and around the two center rings much like the flow of a river. Eleven different colored rings bring a full, vibrant color wheel to the piece. Starting at the top with red, orange, salmon, copper, yellow, teal, green, sky blue, purple (violet), fuchsia and pale cotton candy pink.

It’s strung on a 18″ sterling silver plated small link chain which is finished with a lobster claw clasp. Ready for immediate wear!

If you missed it the first time around, here’s another chance to snag it! Available in the shop HERE.

This is a labor-intensive chain mail pattern but having made it in all silver first (also available in the shop!) it just called out for a rainbow version as well. The piece is lovely as-is and would also be a wonderful pride and equality gift.
