My Once In A Blue Moon Pendant is available once again. I don’t make these very often (about once in a blue moon – ha!) so it’s best to grab it when you can.

This is a unique take on the popular Tree of Life pendants I’m famous for. There are no “leaves” in this piece. Instead, it celebrates bare branches of a tree against a night sky.

A huge, faceted aqua Chalcedony briolette is accented by rainbow moonstone and apatite rondelles and hangs as a teardrop pendant from a sterling silver Figaro chain.

This beautiful piece starts with a massive sea foam green Chalcedony faceted heart briolette approximately 18mm x 18mm. It’s then wire wrapped in non-tarnish sterling silver plated wire. Accents of rainbow moonstone and blue apatite faceted rondelles on sterling silver ball tipped headpins surround the center focal stone. It hangs on an 18″ sterling silver plated Figaro link chain and is finished with a lobster claw clasp.

This is a gorgeous piece. Very feminine and just lovely. In fact, I ordered an extra of these beautiful Chalcedony briolettes for myself! The color is so soothing and the moonstone and apatite just harmonize so well together. It’s just a lovely pendant.

I was working on some pieces last night but it got a little too late for me to get them photographed and listed so look for some updates tonight/tomorrow. Unfortunately, the day job means I do have to head to bed at a reasonable hour whether or not I’m on a creative streak or if I’m done with my tasks for the night or not. But several new things on the way soon!

A bird’s nest has a lot of symbolic meaning including protection of the young and nurturing new generation and life. A nest is a home and a shelter and a Mother bird dedicates herself to the protection of her precious eggs. This process is celebrated in this piece.

A unique, antique gold wire is woven to form the nest shape and three teal glass pearl “eggs” are nestled safely within. Dangling from the nest is a single swallow charm in silver.

The pendant is attached to a matching antique brass/gold textured cable link chain. The total length is 18.5″ and is finished with a lobster claw clasp.

It’s delicate, feminine and unique. Something easily worn with any attire and yet a real conversation piece. Because each one is unique, no two would ever look exactly alike. This listing is for the exact pendant pictured.

Every time I list my Under A Full Moon Tree of Life pendant, it sells out. I don’t make them very frequently but I finally had a chance to make another one up, so I’ve listed it in the shop.

“Under A Full Moon” is a unique take on the popular Tree of Life pendants I’m famous for. There are no “leaves” in this piece. Instead, it celebrates bare branches of a tree against a night sky. This pendant is handmade using painstaking wire-wrapping techniques. Dark silver colored wire frames and encircles the pendant, and is then used as the roots, trunk and branches of the tree. This tree is bare of leaves like one would see in Winter and features a large, white pearl round disk “full moon” behind the branches. This piece has a very mystical feeling to me and a stillness to it as well.

I’ve been wanting to make a pair of phoenix/fire color earrings for awhile. And the nice thing about making jewelry is that I also get to make custom pieces just for myself sometimes too. This was my first time making something just like this but I think it came out really lovely and I hope to be able to offer some in this style (but maybe in different color schemes as well) in my shop soon.

For now, look how pretty! Lemon quartz teardrop briolettes and micro-faceted rondelles in garnet and shaded citrine. All set in sterling.

So lovely. And I’m just so pleased with the colors and how they look worn as well. Like I said, this pair I made for myself to learn the technique and figure out the logistics but hopefully soon I can offer some my shop as well.

This one features May (dark green for emerald), July (bright red for ruby) and August (the spring green for peridot). This was a Mother’s day gift and her Mom just loved it. Each piece is unique and completely personalized. It’s made with non-tarnish silver plated wire and glass pearls. (Glass pearls are a nice option too for those who are vegetarian and/or vegan since they’re man-made and thus, cruelty-free.) They’re great gifts for Moms, Grandmothers, family (siblings, cousins, etc.), or even just friends. Maybe you just want one made in color(s) you like!

Just taking a day off to celebrate my 34th birthday!

I’m actually writing this in advance since I’m going away Sunday and staying over in Orlando for a mini-weekend getaway for my birthday. The shop will remain open but packages will ship out early next week upon my return.
