His boat was called &#8220;Slice of Life&#8221; which of course was tongue-in-cheek given his serial killer nature. He used his boat to dump dead bodies out into the ocean. And since he was a blood splatter analyst, it only seemed fitting to put some on the shirt as well. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.phoenixfiredesigns.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/dexter-slice-of-life-shirt1b.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.phoenixfiredesigns.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/dexter-slice-of-life-shirt1b.jpg\" alt=\"dexter-slice-of-life-shirt1b\" width=\"600\" height=\"836\" class=\"aligncenter\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And a close-up:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.phoenixfiredesigns.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/dexter-slice-of-life-shirt1a.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.phoenixfiredesigns.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/dexter-slice-of-life-shirt1a.jpg\" alt=\"dexter-slice-of-life-shirt1a\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" class=\"aligncenter\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I made this by cutting out the stencil on freezer paper by hand with an X-acto knife. I ironed the stencil onto the shirt (shiny side down) and then used a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.joann.com\/tulip-fabric-spray-paint-4-ounces-pkg\/1687565.html\" target=\"_blank\">pump fabric spray from Tulip<\/a> to fill in the pattern. After a few coats to get good saturation, I left it overnight to dry.
