Lemon Tree in Gold Wire with Green Aventurine Leaves and Yellow
Glass Fruit
The Tree of Life is
a concept that's been featured in myth, story and legend literally
all around the world. Since ancient times, people have used
variations on the theme. Connecting all things - the realms of the
spirit, the physical, the Divine and the mundane - the roots of the
Tree and the branches touch all things and bring them together in
harmony.
This Lemon Tree pendant is handmade using painstaking wire-wrapping techniques.
A gold wire frame encircles the pendant, and is then used as the roots, trunk
and branches of the tree.
Green Aventurine is a natural gemstone containing a large quantity of quartz.
Considered the stone of luck and chance, it's also said to increase your
perception and insight. It's also the stone associated with the heart chakra.
Nestled into the Green Aventurine leaves are five glass "lemons" made of vivid
yellow, fire-polished glass beads. This makes for a lovely, warm, citrus color
combination reminiscent of a tall glass of cool lemonade on a hot summer day.
The Green Aventurine has a large variety of color tone and color intensity to
it, providing each leaf with a unique and natural variation like a citrus tree
in full bloom and splendor. Each pendant I make is fully hand crafted and thus
one-of-a-kind.
