Spring Tree - Large Sterling Silver and Peridot Gemstone Tree of
Life Pendant
~*~ About the Tree
of Life ~*~
The Tree of Life is a concept that's been featured in myth, story
and legend literally all around the world. Since ancient times,
people have used variations on the theme. Connecting all things -
the realms of the spirit, the physical, the Divine and the mundane -
the roots of the Tree and the branches touch all things and bring
them together in harmony.
~*~ About this Unique Piece ~*~
This pendant is handmade using painstaking wire-wrapping techniques. Sterling
silver-plated wire is used as the roots, trunk and branches. It has been
specially treated to be non-tarnish to keep it's luster.
This Tree is completely unique and represents a very special and rare version of
my pendants. Because of the extreme amount of time it takes to make one this
complex, I won't be making them in any quantity. If you like it, snag it while
it's available! As I said, this is only the second even remotely like this
particular piece and it's quite a bit different from the original piece this is
based on.
~*~ About Peridot Gemstone ~*~
Peridot is a natural, semi-precious gemstone in the most amazing green color.
The birthstone of August, it has been considered sacred and a symbol of purity
for thousands of years. It was considered a stone of Springtime and a gift of
Mother Nature by the Ancients. It is a stone of lightness and beauty and is said
to enhance wellness in the spiritually aware. Peridot, while possessing a
uniquely vivid tone of green has some natural variation in it.
~*~ Measurements ~*~
Measuring just under 2" height and about 1.75" width (not including the .25"
approximate bail size) it is a bold piece that will be noticed, but not so large
as to make it unwearable. The "loop" bail will easily accommodate any chain or
cord of your choosing. (Not included.)
