Tri-Colored Tree of Life Pendant with
Genuine Peridot, Green Aventurine, and Amethyst Gemstone Leaves
The Tree of Life is
a concept that's been featured in myth, story and legend literally
all around the world. Since ancient times, people have used
variations on the theme. Connecting all things - the realms of the
spirit, the physical, the Divine and the mundane - the roots of the
Tree and the branches touch all things and bring them together in
harmony.
This Tree pendant is handmade using painstaking wire-wrapping techniques.
A non-tarnish silver wire frame encircles the pendant, and silver-plated wire is
then used as the roots, trunk and branches of the tree. Featuring a tri-color
pattern of genuine peridot, green aventurine and amethyst gemstone leaves, this
piece is like Spring in full, beautiful bloom.
Peridot is a natural, semi-precious gemstone in the most amazing green color.
The birthstone of August, it has been considered sacred and a symbol of purity
for thousands of years. It was considered a stone of Springtime and a gift of
Mother Nature by the Ancients. It is a stone of lightness and beauty and is said
to enhance wellness in the spiritually aware.
Green Aventurine is a natural gemstone containing a large quantity of quartz.
Considered the stone of luck and chance, it's also said to increase your
perception and insight. It's also the stone associated with the heart chakra.
Amethyst derives it's name from a Greek word meaning "without drunkenness"
because it was believed to protect the wearer from poisons. Amethyst is a
semi-precious gemstone and is a very powerful stone being used for insomnia,
protection, wisdom and healing. Amethyst is also traditionally associated with
royalty and people of great wealth.
The
pendant is a little larger than my standard size and is approximately 2" tall and
1.5" wide.
Like all my pieces, it's very dimensional and rises up out of it's frame.
