One-of-a-kind, Handmade Miniature "Pretty In Purple" French Provincial Faerie Hutch

I have only recently begun to work in miniatures. I created the first magical supply hutch as a gift for a friend. I wanted something faerie (fairy) sized; something that perhaps might be found in the little forest cottage where she lived. This one is done in a very pretty, very feminine feel. It's almost French Provincial in style. The hutch is hand painted in a pearlescent color with the opening doors, top and bottom done in a metallic lilac purple. After extensive detailed painting, I go to town creating all sorts of unique items to fill the shelves. It's very particular, precise work and it takes many, many hours to complete a single hutch.

This is the first French Provincial style hutch. It's very feminine and pretty and dainty with carefully chosen accessories to fit the theme and style.

Close-up detail shows off some of the amazingly intricate items. A gorgeous assortment of perfume and potion bottles are each highly decorative and unique, with a little star-tipped wand nestled in on the second shelf and a crystal ball on the top.

The bottom shelf you can see a little silver tea cup and kettle, a couple books, a little purple plant and more of the delicate detail on the bottles.

This forest cottage hutch would be perfect for anyone who wants a mystical touch for their dollhouse, or who wants a little fun with their home decor as it's a neat conversation piece to have out on display year-round. It measures around 6" in height at it's tallest point, 4" width and about 1.25" in width. The piece is hand signed on the bottom by the artist. (Me!) This is the prettiest one I've done so far and I absolutely am in love with the beauty of the details and the degree of decoration they offer. It's just so very, very pretty!
