Victorian Inspired Garnet Czech Glass Necklace with Gothic Cross and Matching Earrings Set

This is a bold and beautiful piece. Almost Victorian in styling, it features a large Gothic cross pendant with an accent of black. The necklace is made from faceted, deep garnet red Czech glass with silver tone, black, and hematite accents. Hematite is a natural mineral composed of iron oxide. Very popular in Victorian England, it's seen a resurgence in popularity here in the United States. Hematite has even been found on Mars! This gorgeous mineral has a mirror-like finish but the depth of the color seems limitless. Traditionally, it's believed to help ailments of the blood as well as bring about a calm, and tranquil mental state. Czech glass is world-renowned for it's beauty, depth of color and craftsmanship.

The necklace is finished with a highly decorative picture-frame toggle clasp.

The rich, deep red of the garnet catches the light and casts a warm glow in bright light, but is dark enough to be subtle and sophisticated for night wear.

Bonus! This necklace comes with a matching pair of dangle earrings to complete the look.

Necklace is approximately 16.5" in length with 2" cross pendant. Earrings are about 2" in length as well.

I have yet to find another, identical pendant (or one terribly close for that matter) but we can work together to substitute another one you like, or I can also use an alternate type of pendant such as an ankh or such. I can easily use the same garnet Czech glass beads however.
