Fluorite Gemstone Bracelet and Earring Set in Tones of Purple and Green

Fluorite (formally called "Fluorspar") is a very beautiful, naturally occurring gemstone which features multiple colors and varieties - often within a single stone. This set features a gorgeous variety of shades of purple and green. The colors range from a pale amethyst shade, through to a darker purple and paler, almost green aventurine or jade green shades. There are bands and swirls of variation and color in many of the beads adding to the amazing allure of the stone.

Fluorite has been used for carvings for thousands of years with both the Ancient Egyptians and Chinese using it to create statues and scarabs. It is said to absorb and neutralize negative emotions and energy. Known as the "Genius Stone" it's said to help improve concentration and decision-making. Fluorite is also a stone which is said to amplify other stones around it.

The bracelet is around 7 1/2" long and is finished with a lobster claw clasp. The earrings are about 1 1/2" long on French wire hooks. This comes as a matching set. Truly, they are gorgeous pieces and I hate to see them go they're so pretty. Wear them with jeans or a special night out; the set is versatile for any occasion.
