Copper Wire Bird Nest Pendant with Light Blue Sapphire "Eggs"

A new design for me, this is my new Bird Nest pendant. A bird's nest has a lot of symbolic meaning including protection of the young and nurturing new generation and life. A nest is a home and a shelter and a Mother bird dedicates herself to the protection of her precious eggs. This process is celebrated in this piece. Copper wire is woven to form the nest shape and three light blue sapphire "eggs" are nestled safely within. It's strung on a matching 18" blue cord finished with a lobster claw clasp.

It's delicate, feminine and unique. This one is daintier than some of the others. It'd also be suitable for a younger girl. Because each one is unique, no two would ever look exactly alike.
